Much of the content is in a blog format to make it easier for the client personnel to make updates themselves.The mission of OHED is to alleviate poverty, famine, diseases, illiteracy, and their related consequences in the South Kivu Province in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

The Restoring the Stanislaus River website is an example of a modern design built using a Joomla Rev4 template with responsive features.
This design features a "sticky menu." This allows the menu to remain always visible at the top of the user screen during page scrolling.

The new Healthy Play website is an example of an upgrade of a older (very dated) website to achieve a visually appealing new look with responsive features. Almost everything was ripe for change - navigation, content, pictures, you name it.Images of client workshop activities are displayed via a full-screen photo gallery that helps to tell the story of what the various training options entail. The home page especially is full of movement and visual effects that are pleasing to the eye and help to generate excitement. The tasteful use of color helps to produce a consistent theme throughout the website.

The new Hacienda la Alegría website is an example of an upgrade of a older (and broken) website to achieve a visually appealing new look with responsive features. The concept was to showcase the visual beauty of the setting, describe the cozy "casita" with full set of amenities, and persuade the viewer to fall in love with Hacienda la Alegría.The website features a basic availability calendar, but due to privacy preferences, reservations are made the old fashioned way via phone and a personal touch.
Images of this lovely desert property are displayed via a full-screen photo gallery and also in other pages using a "parallax" effect that viewers will find intriguing.

Today, S & R Cabinetry has a new business focus - the commercial cabinet marketplace. To go along with this, we created a new responsive design website with a brand-new look.

The goal for the project was to upgrade the One Street website giving it a more contemporary look and achieve a mobile friendly ease of use. While most aspects of the site were to be updated – layout, style, navigation, logo, and content - the over-all look and feel of the old website needed to be respected and considered in the upgrade process. The design approach to meet the competing requirements was to utilize the new template from the same template supplier mirroring some aspects of the original website, but freshening the appearance and incorporating new responsive technology.

Civano Web Design was given the challenge to give the existing Cactus Cove website a fresh look and improved user experience. Virtually every aspect of the site is new – layout, style, navigation, logo, content, and photos. The property is strikingly beautiful, so to truly capture this for the website, I made two visits to the bed and breakfast, camera in hand.
Also key to the success of the new Cactus Cove website was the design-for-SEO methodology. In a very competitive market, Cactus Cove is consistently prominent on Google search results.
